What do I do?
I am a solicitor who works closely with Howard Thompson and Niamh McMahon to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. My particular focus is on litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency.
What do I enjoy about what I do?
I enjoy the challenge of developing tailored, optimal solutions for our clients that achieve the best outcomes for their needs. I enjoy dealing with people, studying the law and keeping myself up to date with developments in my focus areas and with technological innovations in the field. I enjoy court work but also have an interest in negotiating out-of-court outcomes for clients.
What have I done in the past?
Previously I completed a Master of Arts with First-Class Honors in English, and worked as a teacher while travelling abroad, including such far-flung places as the Arctic Circle. I have also worked with not-for-profit educational organisations in New Zealand. I enjoy learning, discovery and straying of the beaten path.
What am I like out of work?
I like to cook, with a focus on recipes that involve cream, wine, butter, cheese and chocolate in copious quantities! I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, going to concerts, and participating in a variety of sports including full-contact armoured medieval combat.
